Dr Niebalski is incredibly kind and talented, he's done an absolutely amazing job, and I will always be grateful for the work he's done.
Also, I have a really bad fear of needles in medical settings, so my many numbing shots were very distressing and difficult for me to get through, but the team did everything they could to keep me comfortable and get me through it. BIG thank you to them for that.
Afterwards, I was completely relaxed the entire procedure. I even dozed off a few times, I was so relaxed!
I am also grateful they did a single case agreement with my insurance. Please, don't think just because they were able to do it for me, they can for you - insurance companies are very challenging to work with, and the process took me nearly a year and a half from my consultation - but they did what they could for me, and it happen to work out, mainly because of their persistent work.
I do very much recommend Northwest Hair Restoration, and Dr Niebalski. I am so happy with my surgery overall, and very excited to see results!

I’m writing somewhat of a lengthy review because if you’re like me and you’re new to the hair restoration process, you’re probably basing a lot of your decision on reviews and looking for the experience of others to help inform your decision. I had a very positive experience with Northwest Hair Restoration and would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in FUE.

During my initial consultation, I met with Dr. Niedbalski where he personally evaluated my situation and gave me a good sense of what to expect both in terms of results and pricing. From his demeanor and professionalism, I could immediately tell that he was the right fit. This was in contrast to another well-known clinic in the area where I only met with a salesperson, not the Dr. doing the procedure, which left me feeling less than confident in them and more like just a number. After meeting with Dr. Niedbalski I immediately knew he was the right choice, and I booked the procedure for their next available date.

Fast forward to the day of the procedure. I was nervous going in, but his staff (a team of fantastic individuals) quickly put me at ease. My procedure took most of the day, so I had a long time to get to know them all. They did a fantastic job making sure that I was comfortable and continually checked in on me and assured me that my comfort was their priority. The view of Mt. Rainier in the procedure room is incredible, and I swear they made the Spotify playlist just for me as it had so many of my favorites. The team worked seamlessly together, and I could tell they genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. I asked a ton of random questions which they happily answered, and I learned a lot about their backgrounds, families, their depth of experience, how the procedure is done, as well as the level of meticulousness they take to ensure high-quality results. I felt genuinely cared for by Dr. Niedbalski and his team, and that means a lot. After a week or so, Allie (NP) followed up with me to see how I was healing, and I swear she spent 45 minutes on the phone with me answering all my random questions (thanks, Allie!!). It’s now been almost two months since the procedure and things are progressing as expected and I can’t wait for my six-month follow up. But I’ll be back before then - I thought so highly of Dr. Niedbalski and his staff that I’m coming in this week for one of their other treatments.

If you’ve researched this procedure, you know you want someone who is an expert in FUE and truly cares about the customer experience, and that’s Dr. Niedbalski. You also want a professional team that works seamlessly together, takes care of you, and has fun while doing it. The team - Allie, Melanie, GG, Mala, Anida, Breanna, and Tarah (and I hope I’m not forgetting anyone that I met!) were absolutely fantastic and I truly had an enjoyable and memorable day with them. Thank you, Dr. Niedbalski and team!

I'm not someone who’s easily impressed and like most business professionals, I’m invariably limited on time.  However, the experience I had with Dr. Niedbalski and his team exceeded my expectations and in turn, compelled me to take time out to write this commentary.

From the initial consultation through the post-op review, everyone there was professional, accommodating, and consistently focused on ensuring my comfort and satisfaction with every step of the process.  What really impressed me though was their wonderful “continuity of patience and grace” throughout the whole procedure.  Those two attributes alone are not easy for anyone to exercise successfully on a consistent basis, but they did it on their feet, with a cheerful attitude for nearly 10 hours straight…Amazing!

That said, if you’re truly interested and serious about having a nice full head of hair once again, I highly recommend calling Northwest Hair Restoration.  Whether you’re in the infancy stages of researching the process, trying to find the right doctor to partner with, or just have questions about the various options available, Dr. Niedbalski can help.

On a side note, I vetted a multitude of doctors and clinics on their processes, background education, experience, ethical and practice reviews, industry knowledge, and personability, and I can confidently say they hit ALL of the marks for me.  And, although  it required me to travel out of state, the trip was well worth it!!

I had fantastic results and got my hair back in less than 6 months. They put together a treatment plan and offered different options. My hair is now thicker and longer. At age 22 my hairline had been both receding and thinning. I was pretty close to throwing in the towel and just rocking the bald look. I decided to explore some options with hair transplants and saw some options out there like doctors in Turkey or with Bosley Hair Restoration. Consultations with both felt like they were coming after my money over trying to genuinely help.

Dr. Roopani and his team were absolutely incredible from the start. They set realistic expectations and you could tell they took pride in doing quality work. From the detail in design of my hairline to create a look I'd be happy with in my 20s and down the road to a smooth surgery procedure - I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

RHI is a bit pricey compared to what else is out there. But something cheap will feel good at first and hurt forever down the road. Paying a little extra to get it done right might hurt at first, but your future self will thank you forever.

I've been coming to RHI for a year or two now, and can confidently say that they've saved my hair. Dr. Roopani and his team genuinely care about their patients, and never tried to force me into any procedures or things I wasn't comfortable with.

After being on medical therapy for over a year with good results, I eventually made the decision to have an FUE transplant done about 5-6 months ago now that my hair had stabilized. The results have been great so far, and should only improve as time goes on.

I can’t say enough great things about Advanced Hair Restoration! I had my first procedure with them two years ago, where they performed around 3,500 grafts, and the results were absolutely incredible. From the very first consultation in Portland, Oregon, to my appointment with their representative in Seattle, the entire process was seamless, easy to understand, and handled by a knowledgeable and professional team.

The front desk staff are amazing—friendly, welcoming, and Miss Alex is still there from my last procedure, which really speaks volumes about the company and how well they treat their employees. It’s always a great sign when people genuinely enjoy where they work, and that same positivity carries through to the experience as a patient.

For my second procedure today, I had 2,100 grafts done, and once again, the experience was top-notch. The technicians were kind, professional, and extremely attentive. Dr. Parungao was highly recommended and I was glad and excited to be under his car. He is fantastic—informative, kind, and easy to talk to. He made sure I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire procedure, which I really appreciated.

I would recommend Advanced Hair Restoration to anyone considering hair restoration. If my first experience is any indication, I can’t wait to see the results of this latest procedure in the coming months. I’ll have to post some pictures soon because I already know it’s going to be amazing!

Thus far I have only gone in for a consultation, but Tammy was fantastic! Very down to earth, very informative, and easy to talk to. I have been trying to learn what I can online and Tammy was able to provide much more professional and relevant details. There were a few questions that I was trying to keep in my head to be sure to ask, but she often provided information that answered them before I asked. It was a very well paced discussion. If you are at all considering this, or have questions that you are not getting the answer to, then I would highly recommend going in for a discussion. Tammy gave me a lot of confidence in Advanced Hair and was very helpful in addressing my specific situation, as well as laying out the best financial options. I'm just about certain to move forward at this point.

I cannot recommend Jocelyn enough!!! I've had thinning around the hairline and part and have tried hair powders, microneedling, oils and serums. Nothing has done what SMP has. It looks so natural and has helped so much with an insecurty I've been dealing with for years. Jocelyn (and Justin) are knowledgeable and so dedicated to the getting the perfect result. Also doesn't hurt that they're both super personable and like to have fun while they're getting the job done!

I’ve had the privilege of working with Justin the last couple months and I can’t say enough about how awesome his work is, but also him as a person. I’ve been researching SMP for a little over a year so you can imagine how hesitant I was to move forward with the process. While researching, I asked Justin a million questions, all in which he was able to answer in great detail and provide me examples/photos to help connect the dots. While researching, Justin’s work clearly stood out compared to others in the Oregon area. Justin put me at ease with the responses provided but also during our consultation. He never made it seem like I was asking too much or inconveniencing him at all.  Just a real solid guy all around, honestly!

After my first session, I was totally blown away and that was when I immediately knew I made the right decision. A couple sessions later and I’m looking like I have a full head of hair and the only thing I was upset about was the fact I didn’t do this much sooner!! He made me feel really comfortable with the process.  He was very accommodating when it came to scheduling. Also detailed with home care after the work.

He has done amazing work and has given me a lot more confidence when it comes to the HT scar on my head.  He really made it dissappear.  His skills are second to none, and he takes the time to explain everything throughout the process.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Bosley. From start to finish, the team was professional, supportive, and made me feel confident in my decision. The results speak for themselves — at 28 years old I went from noticeable thinning and bald spots to a full, natural-looking head of hair. It’s been a huge boost to my confidence. If you’re on the fence, just do it — Bosley changed my life.

It’s been over a year since I underwent a hair transplant procedure at this clinic. I was advised to go ahead with approximately 3000 grafts to cover hair loss near the temples. After the procedure, I was told that most of the grafts had been distributed in that region. However, after more than a year, I’ve seen no visible improvement.

Every time I reach out to them for a follow-up or concern, the response is disappointing. Instead of addressing the issue, they shift the blame onto me, claiming I didn’t follow the post-procedure care properly. For instance, I informed them that I’ve been consistently using a topical finasteride spray for maintenance, but they casually dismissed it, saying I should’ve used oral pills instead — something that was never clearly communicated before. There’s always a new excuse, and never any accountability on their part.

I recently visited for my one-year follow-up appointment and expressed my frustration about the continued visibility of my scalp, expecting some guidance or at least acknowledgment. The doctor’s response was indifferent — he simply said I could go for another procedure, adding, “Nothing is free, you know.”

I find this highly unprofessional. It feels like their support and concern ended the moment the payment was made. It’s incredibly disheartening to be in the same situation I was in a year ago, both financially and emotionally drained, with no results to show.

I got two procedures done here and had the most incredible experience. The pre-procedure, procedure and after care were superb. The results couldn’t have been better. It is the best money I could have spent for hair restoration. I am so happy with results and would highly recommend Bosley for anyone who is looking into quality hair restoration!

My first time with Bosley was in 1999 and it was just as great a visit in 2025 with Dr. Lee. Professional and knowledgeable but most of all IT WORKS!! No regrets. Highly recommended!

Moral of the story, I went to another surgeon to fix my FUE that Bosley did and he asked if I went to Turkey. That’s how bad it was.

- 4-5 hair grafts placed in my hairline, giving a doll hair like appearance. This is a real mistake that hair mills do, not a top dollar company like Bosley, but they did.

- did not angle the hairs forward and to the side, they left the 4-5 hair bundles sticking straight up adding to the doll hair and unnatural appearance.

- Right side corner never grew in

- hairline was unnatural. The Bosley surgeon spent maybe 5 minutes designing it.

- my new surgeon placed 3k more grafts, spent an hour and a half designing my hairline and removed 4-500 grafts that Bosley placed.

This place is top dollar and bottom quality. They knew they messed up and only offered 200 grafts to fix the problem. They can’t place the blame on me, no amount of post-op care or oral medications would fix their terrible graft placement. Stay away. Northwest Hair Restoration fixed me up right after these guys butchered my head.

She was very professional and instructed me on what to do after each session. I feel much more confident after doing SMP as it looks so realistic and most of my family still have no idea unless I tell them.

Minela is a true professional and dedicated to her craft.  I went to her to see if she could cover the scars from a 1980s hair transplant.  I am very pleased with the results and enthusiastically recommend her.  She stays active in new techniques and  focuses on customer satisfaction.

Came back for a touch-up (included in warranty).  Once again, Minela was wonderful and did a great job.  Couldn’t be more pleased.

I flew out from New Jersey to Seattle to learn SMP with Minela from Scalpco. Academy. She is the best I know in the industry.
During our three day course, she provided hand on practice and shared her knowledge in various topics regarding SMP and more.
I’m going back home more confident and excited to put in practice what I leaned.  I couldn’t ask for a better instructor because she is the best along with her sister Ayna.

I went to Minela for a touch up after having work done by another artist a couple years prior. Minela really brought my smp back to life in a huge way. She really hones in on the detail and the density she achieves is really impressive. I’m really happy with the result.

Minela also guarantees her work, so if the healing doesn’t go quite right, or you want something addressed once you’re healed, she will take care of you.

Can’t recommend enough, if you’re looking for an artist in the PNW, don’t hesitate to book with Minela. You will not be disappointed.

SMP NW is THE BEST SMP studio around! After going to multiple studios I was so happy to meet Dave at SMP NW. Dave is a great guy and an even better artist with unrivaled attention to detail. He actually touched up a previous job I'd had done by someone else that just wasn't holding up well over time. So it was a bit more challenging of a project... but he was great and it came out looking wonderful. In addition to the results themselves, he was so generous with his time. He met me on two Sundays to accommodate my schedule. And the second Sunday was to touch up some areas that needed a bit more attention to look just right. He takes his time. Is very detail oriented. Makes sure you're completely satisfied with the end product. And explains everything he is doing very clearly. I honestly couldn't give him any higher praise. As for SMP itself.... Hands Down , Great Experience, Ken is very knowledgeable at what he does. The atmosphere was very clean.
I just finished my 3rd session and am very pleased with the outcome. But then the 1st and 2nd sessions, you can already see a significant improvement. I never received so many compliments on how clean my lineup is.

I thought I had an appointment to get my lashes done a few days before my wedding. I had sent her inspiration pics 1 month before my appointment to ensure my appointment was still good and she didn’t respond. I hoped for the best and Once the week came and I tried to confirm if I had an appointment I got no response again. Drove to the building, no one there. I have a certificate from a couple years ago that I never got to use and she said she would honor it for this service and then I got ghosted. Soo disappointing and totally ruined my look for my wedding.

I’ve been researching Micro scalp pigmentation for a while now. When I research for locations that perform this work there are very few here in Washington Puget Sound area.  Also, this is a very specific profession that has to be done by a certified professional.

Went there for a diamond microdermabrasion that i got from groupon and Tosha provided me the best customer service ever. She was so freiendly, patient and nice. She talked to me about my concerns at first and recommended some products and also gave me sample of a facial scrub to help with my black&white heads. The whole process was so smooth and relaxing except for the extraction part which definitely HURTS, as i was tearing up. But it was all worth it. Finished the day with definitely a bit of a redness due to removal of the impurities, but I have never seen my nose so CLEAR. I'll definitely be back with my friends to try more of the facials :)

My daughter had an eyelash appointment and Tosha was a no show. She called her apologizing and promised to get her in later that day. My daughter never heard from her again even after texting her to see if she could fit her in at a later date as she was only here for the weekend. I find this extremely unprofessional to miss a scheduled appointment and then to not respond at all.

Very impressed with staff. Everyone I have spoken with there has been professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be recommending Scalp Works Ink to friends and family.
