The San Francisco office needs new chairs for the operating room. Very uncomfortable and they looked old. I feel like this should be upgraded with the amount of money it cost the patient.

Each staff person I interacted with from beginning to end were helpful, professional, and caring. The doctor and staff were awesome. After a year or so, I worked with Stephanie to take care of a follow up appointment. She made the process smooth and painless. She was responsive and helpful.

After waiting for one hour for my appointment, they told me doctor is not available but he will review the pictures and get back to me over the phone. He never did. I called twice and every time they told me that he will get back to me with no response. I lost over 80 percent of the grafted hair in less than two years and after spending 10K. I do not recommand this doctor and the San Francisco office.

Its been 8 and half years since I had my procedure with Dr.Diep. Saying that I am glad I got it done and extremely pleased with my results is an understatement! Since I was considered a fast grower, my hair at 5 months looks pretty good. By 1 year it was full and amazing! Now its been almost 9 years and it's still amazing! I can't thank Dr.Diep and his team enough for the amazing job they did on me and the exceptional service, care and support I've received throughout my journey!

I loved my experience here.  The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.  Dr. Diep is highly skilled.  The team does everything they can to make you as comfortable as possible from start to finish.  The results are amazing as well.  They look completely natural.  I had my entire frontal area filled in.  I've got confidence in my appearance now that I haven't had since my twenties.  I can't recommend this team enough.  Here are some attached photos.

I have already done a few consultations with other clinics before coming across Dr. Diep and his amazing team. A few notable points that Dr. Diep that really stood out to me during the consultation:

- Instead of just giving you a general hairline, Dr. Diep will make his professional suggestion on what an Asian hairline looks like. Being Asian myself, this was HUGE as some other consultations the doctors didn't even factor that into the conversation.
- On the flip side, Dr. Diep also show example of a patient that wanted a very custom (Elvis like) hairline, he happily did it for them. This shows Dr. Diep is happy to work with the patient's specific requirements.
- Lastly, Dr. Diep ALWAYS, always stressed the importance of having a natural looking hairline from the surgery, and he'll work his magic to archive that.

The above 3 points was what really sold me and put me at ease with Dr. Diep and his team. Once a surgery date is set, Dr. Diep and his team will give you a packet with instructions on what to prep for the week before and day of the surgery, which was super helpful.

I went with the FUT procedure and event of the day unfolded as follows.

- Went in to the clinic, changed, got a little explanation of the days proceedings, pick out what to each for lunch, took a pill and fell asleep while the team got to work right away.
- Woke up during lunch time, ate lunch, and went back to sleep.
- Woke up again near end of day, the operation is almost done, the team wrapped up the operation, got a packet of instructions for post surgery and I took an Uber home.

It was really a straight forward process, again only speaking from my experience here, your mileage may vary. I went back to the clinic a week or two later to remove the sutures, and that point the year long recovery journey begins. Hang in there as you should start seeing hair regrowth by the 3rd or 4th month. Now a year later I can finally appreciate the results of this operation and a kickass hairline. :)
