A family member has alopecia. They had a very pleasant experience! Very personal and private sessions were offered. After the process their confidence has increased to wear their natural hair. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone!

Beth did my permanent eyeliner last Thursday and I’m loving it. It makes a dramatic difference. I wanted to go conservative on the liner since I don’t usually use a lot of makeup. She did exactly what I wanted. She was very prompt getting started and got me in and out as quickly as possible.
Not gonna lie the process was not pain free but Beth did a great job with the numbing cream whenever she saw the need for additional. I would definitely recommend Beth and permanent eyeliner as well.

I knew immediately during my first session that I made the right decision and with the right company. Christina and John did such great work. They informed me of all possibilities along the way so there were no surprises and I knew exactly what to expect. This wasn’t a choice of vanity, but rather a decision to help me regain my confidence. To say I’m happy is an understatement. Thank you Christina and John for going above and beyond and giving me back exactly what I needed!

Drake was very helpful & knowledgeable on every concern & question I had about hair transplant. He help me out with the best financing options they had. But I do have to say the two receptionist at the front desk were not the nicest and didn't smile at me nor would look me in the eyes. Thanks Drake!

My visit was horrible. I met Drake Van at the Birmingham location for my Free Consultation and  I told him my wants/needs of what I wanted done for my hair loss. He told me nothing of what I asked about. He was rude and pushy about what he was trying to persuade me to do. He told me that since I was young, unemployed, and in college that I would not be able to afford it and to talk to my parents about it. He also told me that I shouldn't have drove to the in-person consultation because he could've told me this on a 5 minute phone call. He looked at my hair for less than 5 seconds and never got out of his chair behind his desk. I find it very hard believe that you can tell someone their options by looking at their hair from a far distance like that. It was the most embarrassing thing I've ever had done to me. He made me feel like a burden to him and his time. I will never be coming back to Bosley ever again. It was the worst experience ever.

To me Nina fields is an angel.She was incredible, very informative ,willing to  take the time,made me feel special, definitely sold on Bosley.

For someone claiming to be the leader of hair restoration, they're still using the old cut into your scalp and take out a block of skin and then sew it back together!  Please research other  hair restoration clinics that do not do this and use more modern ways, Otherwise you will have a Frankenstein scar in the back of your head which is very very 2010.

I was a bit nervous going into my 1st session with Johnny even though I had done tons of research beforehand.  I was put at ease the moment I entered CreativeScalps and sat down to discuss the plan to make my SMP as natural looking as possible.  Johnny is a true artist, his attention to detail and precision is what makes him so great at what he does. This has given me a boost in confidence and I would do it over in a heartbeat.  Johnny....thank you very much for everything!

(As far as not knowing how to pickup a telephone to call John, with my issues. When I got my SMP done two years ago, John told me that it would take 2-3 sessions. After the third session I expected the SMP to be finished, because each session I drove over three hours, so I was at a total of 9+ hours of driving. I got back home, and had my wife look at it, before and after it healed, and she noticed that there were various circular spots that were lighter than the rest, and it made it look like alopecia, and things weren't uniform. Before that third session I had asked you about that, and you shined strong lighting on my head, and said that you fixed them. So after my wife took photos and pointed the spots out, I texted you and asked you to fix them. I drive back down, spending another 3+ hours driving, and you just sped through the session, and it felt like you barely touched anything up. I get back home, and my wife shows that you didn't even touch things up, and she also notices a tattoo type line on multiple different spots where you must have accidentally left small lines on my head  So I left a 2 or 3 star review on google, because you asked me to leave you a review (you apaprently only wanted 5 star reviews to be left). You then reply to the review and text me upset, and offer to fix the issue, and you offer to pay for laser removal for the lines, but I just asked that you blend them in, to make the SMP filled and uniform. I bring my wife this time, so she can show you the spots, and I show up and you have the English guy with you, he looks at my head briefly and says that it looks good, this is after I told him on his youtube video what happened without saying who did the work, and on there he said that you must have done a bad SMP job. So after the fifth session, and driving more than 15 hours, and 12 hours of needle work, my wife confirms that the SMP looks good now, and now I'm happy and removed my review. You definitely did offer to fix the SMP, and it turned out well, but you got way too offended by me leaving my review, after you asked me to leave a review. As far as me wanting the top up from you, you verbally told me that it would cost $400, which is what I would have paid, you said that I would need one after two years, so even though you were upset last time, I decided to look you up, and ask you about it, but couldn't find your business anywhere, then did a little searching and found that you started all over in Alabama, even deleting your old google business with all the reviews etc. It's not that I thought that your work was great, it's that I had already paid $3,200.00, and wanted to touch it up, as it's been over two years, and you said that it would be $400, which could be a good deal).

It looks like John Douglas jumped ship from AZ to AL, so all the customers he had in AZ, won't be able to get a "top up", as he calls them, or a touch up, which he says is needed every two years afterward.

Around two years ago, I got SMP from John Douglas, and spent over 12 hours of needle work, and 4-5 trips to get it right (did around 3 hours of driving each trip, was told that it usually takes 2-3 trips to get it done), he kept leaving circular blotches of lighter colored ink on my scalp, and it looked like alopecia, finally after the 4th or 5th trip, it looked okay enough for me, but was still very light colored. I spent $3,200 total, was told that after two years it would need a "top up", which would cost $400, looks like he skipped town, and moved across the country. John Douglas must have deleted all of his AZ reviews and accounts. Looks like one of the last reviews on yelp, was an unhappy client who said that John purposely takes his time, and charges $300 an hour. I remember the English guy was there the last time that John Douglas worked on my SMP, and he was saying that it looked good, which was a lie, it appears that money is all that they care about.

Aretha, is THE BEST stylist I have ever experienced in your Company. This is 38 years!

Her ‘customer-first’ attitude should be replicated throughout your Company. The care she provides each and every time I come in for a service is consistently top-notch.

The reason folks stay with Hair Club is not for the solutions as the market is now saturated with viable alternatives. It because of the ‘Arethas’ you have working for you that we come back year after year.

I was with my stylist Aretha and I had an issue and she solved it when I did not think it could be solved. Only someone who cares deeply for their client and the reputation of Hair Club would go that extra mile (or two) to not only make my style look great but made me feel so much better about the issue basically eliminating it. Just when I thought great service was so hard to find, Aretha delivered for me. I am blessed to have her as my stylist. She is awesome!

Cynthia is a fabulous manager who cares about giving you the best experience.  Jody is the most incredible, sweet hairdresser who gives me beauty pageant worthy hair each time!!! They have given me so much self-confidence and boosted my esteem 1,000%!

I have been very disappointed with my experience at HairClub. The astronomical price for membership (over $1500) has hardly given me any value added to my life for being a part. The most disappointing thing has been being given Minoxidil treatment and not being warned of the potential "dread shed" that takes place once you begin using it. I found out what was happening to me for FREE on a women's hair loss Facebook group. Unless HairClub responds to this in a responsible manner, based on my very disappointing experience up to this point, I cannot right now recommend them to anyone.

Tashanta Bandy (“T”) is the ultimate stylist.  She is professional, creative, and patient — and so much more!  I am fully confident in her skills and know that I am going to look my best.  She is customer-focused and always has my best interest in mind.  “T” takes the time to listen to my concerns—no matter how small—and always derives a solution that has taken those concerns into consideration! Hair club of Birmingham is truly amazing! Chellie, my stylist, is always so accommodating and such a great beautician I always feel better and look better when I leave. I’ve been a client of Birmingham HC since 2005. In all my years of coming here, the staff, stylists & manger have all been outstanding. They're professional, friendly and sincerely care about the way you want to see yourself when you look in the mirror. It can be anxious to try something like this because of the unknowns. However, they’ve always been upfront & honest with me from the financial side and the products side; especially with the hair. This isn’t for everyone but for those willing to try, I strongly recommend giving the Birmingham location a shot if you struggle with thinning hair.
