It’s been 4 weeks since my hair transplant at Holt Hair Restoration Center, and I already feel a difference not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Holt was incredibly kind, patient, and genuine. He didn’t just treat me like another procedure. He listened to my concerns, answered every question with honesty, and made me feel seen. That meant a lot to me, especially because this wasn’t just about hair. It was about feeling like myself again. The procedure itself was handled with so much care. The team was professional and gentle throughout, and I never felt rushed or ignored. They really understand how emotional this kind of journey can be. The recovery so far has been smooth, and I was well-prepared for what to expect. Right now, I’m in the early stages. Most of the transplanted hair has shed, just like they said it would, but I know this is part of the process, and I feel hopeful. What’s already changed, though, is my confidence. Even though it’s just the beginning, I feel a spark of the self-esteem I had lost. Looking in the mirror isn’t as hard anymore. The best choice made! 5 years ago I had my first procedure with Dr. Holt. Prior to my first procedure I researched 4 other hair restoration offices and Dr Holt was the only choice. He takes his time during the consultation and goes through the entire process with a fine tooth comb, pun intended. What sets Dr Holt apart from everyone else was his personal touch, not only regarding the procedure but also about the cost and the expectations and results. He was extremely respectful on the financial aspect to get the best result for the money. No pressure to spend more money than needed for the results you want. I was thrilled with the 1st procedure and my self confidence was unbeatable. Truly amazing what he did with the 1400 graft option I chose. 5 years later almost to the day I chose my second procedure and once again Dr Holt took the time to discuss what to expect without any pressure. My second procedure was truly just to fill in areas that only I could see as my self confidence was still 100% from 5 years ago. What truly sold me on Holt Hair Restoration was the honesty and the personal touch he and his staff provided. His professional opinion that more grafts won’t necessarily be worth the extra money made me realize he was a true patient’s doctor! He is passionate about how the patient will look AND feel after the procedure. I am 52 years old. Me and my wife had our initial consultation with Dr. Holt in May - 2023. I had called over 20 hair restoration businesses throughout all of Southern Michigan -from Detroit all the way to Grand Rapids. They told me their prices per hair graft, etc. And you can just get a vibe if a hair restoration center is all about cranking people out and not caring about the patient. My hair had been thinning slowly from around 30 years old, and I was two decades into it. I had tried all the Rogaine products, and none of them seemed to even make a difference. So Around 48 years old, my hair was suddenly starting to thin even faster than normal. Progressively getting worse. I knew that it was now or never. Even at 52 years old, I was not ready to start going bald. I had just left a job, and thought I’ll have the procedure done before I start my next job. So it was perfect timing. Dr. Holt sat down with us, took his time, explained everything extremely thoroughly. My wife had many questions as well, and he answered all her questions thoroughly and patiently. Never got up like he was wanting to leave. Or act like he was in a hurry. He even gave us a slight discount per hair graft. With my procedure in May -2023 -I had just over 2,150 hair grafts. I was there for 12 hrs! But I was just so glad to be getting this done and over with. I had been contemplating it for 20 years. But he took his time to show my wife what was going on during the procedure throughout the day, and let me look with the mirror at what was going on as well, we were very impressed that he would take the time to do that, and not rush through things impatiently. I have nothing bad to say about him. It is almost 6 months after my surgery as I post this, and the hair is slowly starting to grow in. As with these procedures, you must be very patient. And as I was told, that within 12 months it’ll fully grow in. Very happy with the results so far, and my experience with Dr. Holt and staff were amazing. They were compassionate, and were very good at their job. Definitely a great experience for something that could be pretty traumatic for most people, he made very easy.

I was referred to Dr. Holt by a Plastic Surgeon at Henry Ford Health based upon a positive experience by another patient. I contacted Holt Hair Restoration and made an appointment for a phone consultation as I live in metro Detroit - a two hour drive. I had previously met with two hair transplant providers in my area and neither seemed to convey a sincere likelihood of a positive outcome and the price was higher than I had planned on. I believe that I sent pictures of my bald head to Dr. Holt. We had a cordial and professional conversation and I decided to make an appointment. I had been totally bald on top for nearly forty years. Holt Hair Restoration provided a hair restoration procedure from the hairline back and at six months I decided that I would get a second procedure from the crown forward. At about one year I looked good from the front - full hair. The back was passable but somewhat thin. I did opt for a third procedure to increase density. I am so happy with the fact that I have a healthy head of hair. My overall expense was vastly less than the two quotes received in metro Detroit. Each procedure took one day. Recovery and outcomes met expectations and my desires. I believe that my before and after pictures are on Dr. Holt's website. The overall affect for me is life altering! Dr. Holt did my hair restoration over 20 years ago. I actually went through the process twice over a couple of years to make the most of the restoration. The staff and Dr. Holt were excellent and 20 years later I can honestly state this was one of the best investments I have ever made in my life. They can be trusted and have the experience to make you feel at ease. I do not know if I will ever need another procedure, but if I did, this is where I would go. Highly recommend this team.
