The Art of SMP

Chris Herrera was professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. He was flexible with scheduling and offered great suggestions that made me feel confident throughout the SMP process. The results look fantastic so far, and I’ll share an update in six months. Highly recommend his work!

Honestly, the first session had me freaking out. It’s darker than you expect and much, much different than your old, absent hairline. But Chris did me a solid and reassured me, told me to “trust the process.” And I’m glad he did. People can’t tell that it’s SMP and I feel more confident. It looks really natural after the swelling goes down and it fades. Not to mention, Chris and the gang are all friendly and respectful. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. Especially from The Art of SMP.

I’ll give and honest review because 5 stars from everyone is definitely scripted 😂 I flew from Seattle to DC to have the procedure done. I was informed that the price I paid was for 3 sessions. I only received 2 sessions because he said I didn’t fly back within a certain timeframe. A deadline timeframe for the 3rd sessions was never provided so when I asked for my final session Chris informed he’ll give me a deal to touch it up for 2k !!!!l. I’m sorry but 2k for a touch up is outrageous for a job not all the way finished. Also if your a darker person of color the procedure is not going to show well. The procedure is catered more for the light skin complexion. I thought I was going to get a perfect hairline from Chris but he made it more of a natural look🤦🏽‍♂️ trust me it’s a decent process not painful but definitely not worth the money or time 2 round trip flights hotels and rental cars to still not have the scalp Micro-pigmentation done correctly. Should of just stayed on the west coast. Some people are good people but some are just MONEY HUNGRY and will try to take advantage of other people’s flaws.

Laura is a great artist.She really put in the effort to make sure the job was done perfectly and paid close attention to every detail. I felt cared for throughout the whole process, and the results exceeded my expectations.

Just got a touch up from the best SMP artist on the east coast. I’m feeling like a car that just got an oil change. My touch ups will be more frequent. Shout out to my boy Chris.
