SMP Studio is a small, independent scalp micropigmentation practice in Vancouver, BC, run by John Bentley. Scalp micropigmentation replicates individual hair follicles with pigment to restore the appearance of density, a defined hairline, or coverage over transplant scarring. It is non-invasive, requires no medication, and the results are long-lasting.

Work covers hairline definition, crown thinning, full scalp coverage for male pattern baldness, and hair transplant scar concealment. Sessions typically run three to four hours, and most full scalp treatments are completed in two to three sessions.

Because this is a single-practitioner studio, every client is seen by the same person from consultation through to the final session. SMP Studio holds a 5.0 star rating across 18 Google reviews. Serving Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond and Surrey, with mobile appointments available on request.

Scalp micropigmentation studio in Vancouver, BC offering natural hair follicle replication for men and women. Well-reviewed home-based studio with very competitive pricing.

SMP Studio

I contacted several SMP studios, and John offered the most reasonable price. At first, I was a little concerned because his price was much lower than the others, but he explained that he operates from a private studio without staff or the overhead of a retail clinic, which made perfect sense. He also gave me an additional discount.

I had one 3-hour Full Scalp SMP session and originally expected to need 2 to 3 sessions, but I already see a big improvement. I'm very happy with the result. I'll wait to see how it settles before deciding on a second session, but I would definitely go back to John.
